PD057VU7 the information contained herein is the exclusive property of prime view international co., ltd. and shall not be distributed, reproduced, or disclosed in w hole or in part without prior written per mission of prime view international co., ltd. page:18 14 . handling c autions 14-1) m ounting of module a) please power off the module when you connect the input/output connector. b) polarizer which is made of soft material and susceptible to flaw must be handled carefully. c) protective film (laminator) is applied on surf ace to protect it against scratches and dirts. d) please following the tear off direction as fi gure 14-1 to remove the protective film as slowly as possible, so that electrostatic charge can be minimized. 14-2) p recautions in mounting a) when metal part of the t f t-lcd module (shielding lid and rear case) is soiled, wipe it with soft dry cloth. b) wipe off water drops or finger grease i mmediately. long contact with water may cause discoloration or spots. c) t f t-lcd module uses glass which breaks or cracks easily if dropped or bumped on hard surface. please handle with care. d) since cm o s lsi is used in the module. so take care of static electricity and earth yourself when handling. 14-3) a d j usting module a) ad j usting volumes on the rear face of the module have been set optimally before shipment. b) therefore, do not change any ad j usted values. if ad j usted values are changed, the specifications described may not be satisfied. 14-4) o thers a) don`t expose the module to direct sunlight or intensive ultraviolet rays for many hours. b) store the module at a room temperature place. c) the voltage of beginning electric disc harge may over the nor mal voltage because of leakage current from approach conductor by to draw lump read lead line around. d) if lcd panel breaks, it is possibly that the liquid crystal escapes from the panel. avoid putting it into eyes or mouth. when liquid crystal sticks on hands, clothes or feet. wash it out immediately with soap. e) o bserve all other precaut ionary requirements in handling general electronic components. f) please ad j ust the voltage of common electrode as material of attachment by 1 module. 14-5) p olarizer mark the polarizer mark is to describe the direction of wide view angle film how to match up with the rubbing direction. f igure 14-1 the way to peel off protective film p-511-508(v:4)
